Integration of Goat and fish farming
« on: December 12, 2016, 12:01:36 PM »
Goat and fish farming  is a very good profitable farming method. In this integration system  Goat can be reared in either in  bank of pond or in elevated goat house constructed over water surface. Dung and urine and waste feed are channelized in to pond which helps in plankton production and food for fish. Fifty number of goats can be reared per hector  of  pond. Pond slit can be utilized for fodder cultivation of goats. Effective utilization of goat  farm waste can reduce  production cost of fish.
Farmer /entrepreneurs are requested  to share their experience and innovative ideas on integrated farming.
